Configuring Email Accounts-Outlook 2000 & 98

To configure your E-mail account within Outlook 2000 & 98 for PC, please follow the steps listed below:

  1. Open Outlook, click the TOOLS menu and select SERVICES
  2. Select your E-mail account and click PROPERTIES

  3. Select the SERVERS tab

  4. Mark MY SERVER REQUIRES AUTHENTICATION
  5. Click OK
  6. Click Apply and then click OK
