Configuring Email Accounts-Outlook XP (Outlook 2002)

To configure your E-mail account within Outlook XP 2002 for PC, please follow the steps listed below:

  1. Open Outlook
  2. From the Tools menu, select OPTIONS
  3. Click the MAIL SETUP tab
  4. Click the E-MAIL ACCOUNTS radio button
  5. The E-mail Account Window will open
  6. Verify that View or change existing e-mail accounts is marked and click NEXT
  7. Select your e-mail account (mail.yourdomain.com) and click CHANGE

  8. Click MORE SETTINGS

  9. Select the OUTGOING SERVER tab
  10. Check MY OUTGOING SERVER (SMTP) REQUIRES AUTHENTICATION
  11. Click the ADVANCED tab
